What we learnt from our "Honouring Te Tiriti in the now" webinar

Start with your own personal history! Take the time to trace your own ancestry and learn how you came to be here in Aotearoa. Pay attention to both the good stories, and the hard stories. Think about how you and your family relate to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and whether intergenerational privilege changed the course of your future.

Find fabulous Pākehā educators and mentors to inspire you in your Te Tiriti journey. We have many incredible people in Aotearoa who have been doing this work for decades - so reach out and see what already exists. We were reminded that Māori are not social workers to support Pākehā feeling sad or guilty.
